Having their hands full is one thing. After having Fortunately track is quite another.

I think you can. If you'll stick with me for a while, and do just a small shift in your perspective, I'll explain. I think it depends on how you view your "haveto" and "want to TOS.
Think back to that first baby, the first weeks at home. No matter how tired you were, what he needed at any time of day or Night was your pure pleasure of making them happy and safe and comfortable. (If a baby does not ring a bell, think of when you were in college, or Another time when you worked long and hard but still feel good about it.)

But "havetos" are not necessarily bad things that we reveal. "Havetos" can be your friends if you use them in a way that works for you and not against you.

"Havetos" relate what you want in your life. I rose from my computer this morning, and whispered: "I must go and water the flowers. "Now, this is not exactly the truth. I have options: 1. They die. 2. Install a sprinkler system. 3. Pay someone else to do it for me. 4. Delegate the task to someone else in the household. 5. Do not plant flowers in the first place.
My point is that if I want flowers, I may "need" them water, but that is part of the larger picture. It is also part of my decision to have flowers.
You can say "I gotta go buying groceries, "or" I must take out the trash "or" I'm brushing my teeth. "They may not be things that are particularly pleasant for you, but you do not * really * haveto do any of them. You may alienate members of your family, colleagues, or friends if you do not. But then - this is the big picture, is not it? The haveto "is a direct reflection of what you want.
Are your hands full of "havetos" you're not particularly happy? If you're chasing things that are important for other but people are not important to you, then they are probably real "havetos.
But your hands may also be full of "havetos" who are really "want-tos", just in disguise? .
Instead, look at the whole picture instead of just the "duty" itself. For example, "I do the breakfast dishes (or running errands or pay bills or mowing the lawn)." Yes, I do if I want a sink clean, and if I want clean dishes to eat on again. But what if I consider this my contribution to a happy marriage. I consider it a role or responsibility that I have negotiated, and accept as part of achieving my ultimate goal - Have a happy life and family comfortable.
"Have-tos" are a part of life - but instead of looking like a chore, or work, fight, do not forget to take the picture. It will take Tos Have your life much easier. And you will be able to see your hands as Luckily text.
