I do not feel comfortable talking to people. While my friends are organizing social activities and I would not even when I wanted. Why? I do not know. I came with many excuses for not wanting to go. But basically, I was dying to attend these events - I just could not. I know you know this feeling.
I thought I was shy.
So what? Some people are extroverts, others are introverts. Some are great, some are short. I was shy. This is who I am. Some people told me to just "assume" that I was "Accept" and be happy. You are NOT a phobic Social. You have a social phobia.
This is an absolutely essential point to understand. Until you see social phobia as part of your personality part of who you are, you'll never get rid of it. Your attitude from now, we must be "I am NOT a phobia Social - I HAVE social phobia. " Read it again. Read aloud. Hurler. Read it whenever you wake up. Convince yourself that it's true.
You are not "different". You're not "weird". You have a disease, like when you have a cold. And as when you have a cold, you can get rid of him.
